Don’t Let People Who Don’t Matter, Matter, plus Steve Jobs’ 2005 Stanford Commencement video.

In Day 9, Darren Hardy discusses one of the biggest landmines of all with respect to starting your own network marketing business – your own Self Image.

Wow! This one is so huge! Because just about everyone else has been conditioned (as you were) by school, corporations, and the like that network marketing is a bad idea, and that can be really tough to deal with. When you work for a corporation, if a potential client rejects your product, it’s no big deal – you move on. But unfortunately when people (especially your friends and family) reject your new business venture, it seems personal – and tough.

Remember, by shifting to being an entrepeneur, you’re walking away from 90+% of the population – who are employees. So they’re going to warn you, because what you’re doing doesn’t fit their model of the world. You become the “lone wolf” and if they love you, they want you to be back in the pack, nice and warm and cosy – and stuck.

You’re going to really enjoy Mr. Hardy telling the story that at funerals. I know that sounds funny,  but this story will help you stop spending so much time worrying about being rejected!

Never accept advice from people more screwed up than you are!

Enjoy this six minutes with Mr. Hardy, and let me know what you think! I love getting comments.
